Gotta brag, Euro MB Diesel
Me and my family are in Italy right now, and for the past 2 weeks we have had a C220 CDI. Black on black with sport cloth seats. We are getting mid 40s MPG on the highway. I think I'm in love!

The readout on the display once I figured out how to change it to English and miles instead of kilometers read............. 47.2 MPG on the highway.

I have a 39 Studebaker Coupe Express pickup in which I have had installed a 617 turbo and a five speed manual.  [SIGPIC]..I also have a 427 Cobra replica with an aluminum chassis.

The good thing is that we are getting plenty of diesels in the next few years from most manufacturers. The problem is that I wanted to take it home with me.... I needed a souvenir.

We had a C220cdi 6-speed stick wagon version in Germany, and we also got in the 40mpg range, and it was FAST. A thrill to ride in. It could manage 155mph on a flat surface if you floored it long enough. Pretty amazing.
How many 2.2 liter diesels can squeal the tires!?
