Replacing B2 Piston, cant get enough room to install it
I am replacing my B2 piston on my transmission. The original one was easy to remove because it was in about 4 pieces. Getting the new one in is much more difficult.
I have tried jacking up the engine, prying the tranny, and a few other things. I am worried that i will have to remove the motor mounts and engine shocks. I really dont want to do that because i already went through that hell when I replaced them a year or two ago. What has worked for you, or do you have any easier ideas?

Remove the transmission mount and "pry" the transmission to the left.

Sorry i forgot to say that I had already done that, and had been using that article as well. It was very helpful up until this point.

The orginal version of this FAQ (the one that appear on the old Easley/Ritter site) maintained that you had to drop the tranny unless you were doing the job in a 126. I have no person experience in this job, but I very definitely remember this point. I can't find that FAQ on the net at the moment, but I'm sure I have it archived somewhere. If you're interested, let me know and I'll try to find it.
