91 300D High Performance Cruise Control Switch?
Ok first the linkage is adjusted so the pedal gives full throttle at the pump with the foot on the pedal I can not move the linkage at the pump any. Now with that said when I hit the cruise control button in accel mode if feels like you turned on the juice. I mean it’s a different car and I don’t understand. It does not work until I am at or over 20 mph and at anytime if I go wide open throttle at any speed and hit the cruise control switch wow. I mean is there a secret propane tank on my car somewhere hooked up the cruise control switch? I will watch the boost gauge tomorrow and see what happens but I know the linkage is not moving. Any ideas would be great Thank you.

found it
The Throttle position micro switch mounted throttle bracket is bad. When you push the cruise button in accel it by-passes that circuit for around 4 seconds and that is why it runs so good. Who knew the Cruise control module interfaced with the ecm.
