The best $60 I have spent on my '98 (this month, anyway)!
I treated myself to a brand spankin' new set of OE carpeted mats for my E300D-T. I ordered them from Duval in Florida, much to my surprise they only cost $60 for the set of 4 mats. My old ones were surely beyond their useful life but did a great job protecting the carpet underneath...so after a quick vacuum and install the interior of my car looks like new again!
I use the rubber mats all winter but the old carpet mats even had their foam backing disintegrating which was making a mess behind them. One more fringe benefit, I saved the old rear mats, which were in pretty good shape and they make great knealing pads for the garage floor for working on the car...no more dirty, aching knees! If your old mats are showing their age, treat yourself to a new set, they are quite the bargain too since they are very well made.

Yeah they really do add a lot to the interior.

Mandatory.
They *instantly* pay for themselves the first time you track mud, dog dump, or wet paint into the car. Learnt that as wee boy, when a neighbor's kid trod in dog $hit and tracked it deeply into the fluffy powder blue carpet his grandfather's new 1958 Cadillac sedan. Godawful mess.
They are the FIRST thing I would put in ANY car, no matter how old or cheap, I bought.

Who, or what is Duval in Florida, and how does one order from them?

Thanks for the link, but I've never seen such a brain-dead search 'feature'.

One of the most piss-poor sites I can remember. Never did find floor mats......

The trademotion engine doesn't have much in the drill down search. It works better if you just know part numbers. The prices in the drill down search are sometimes also different than just entering a part number. Duval is a mercedes dealer. One nice feature is if you enter your part number they show you the MSRP as well as their price. You can also just call them.

Their website isn't that useful unless you have a EPC and know the part numbers you are looking for. They are a real dealership, not a drop-ship parts place or third party ordering through a dealership. I usually just email directly to Steve Foster, he's the parts guy and very responsive... pretty much anything you need he can get and their prices and service are very good. FYI his email is sfoster@duvalmotorcars.com
