Indy said AC not worth it
Original problem AC was blowing warm air. Indy changed the high and low pressure values and vacuum checked out fine. Recharged the system including dye. Work fine for about 3 weeks and warm air again. Indy check for leaks and found no dye. Indy said the new 134a has a higher pressure and causing the very small leak. Fix one leak and another come soon, not worth the cost....any suggestions to have a cold AC during global warming???? TIA

refrigerated air
start doing searches on re-retrofitting back to R-12.
The prices have come back down.(nobody is making cars with R-12 systems anymore + many people are "recovering" R-12 from recycled vehicles.) You can acquire a "609" license online for less than 20 dollars US. With R-12 and an inexpensive parallel flow condensor[30 percent more efficient than a normal condenser]... You can FREEZE and ride in total comfort! LOOK @ ACKITS.com or Arizona mobile air. |
