Nopes, the CD was never produced there, Just the 230C 230CE, and 280C 280CE. On the nadaguides website, theres a small * which would indicate that if it was european issue, but when in parenthesis, its just letting one know what the * means. It sometimes can cause confusion

FWIW A friend has a '79, I think, 300 CD, manual trans. The headlights are not sealed beam. One of the PO's cobbled together this thing, makes for a fun time getting correct replacement parts. There were Euro MB's of other styles, right? Why not CD's?

In old Yrup they never would put a diesel engine in a coupe, because a coupe was sporty and hence required a gasoline engine. So the diesel coupe was _produced_ in Europe, but only sold over here.

I thought all MB's were produced in Yuurp. Oh, for U.S. sale only, I see.
