I washed my car tonight, including the engine bay, and now I have a frantic clicking relay sound from under the dash, sounds like from behind the cluster...Havn't gone thru the fuse box yet, but have turned everything on and off, and it seems to be only when the engine is running, and the clickity is some how relative to vibrations from the engine...have the oil pressure gauges been known to make noise?

I doubt it, this is a sporatic and irratic fast clicking that seems to increase in speed as I rev the engine or drive around. usually quits just before I reach to turn the key off to see if I can still hear it.

Engine? Mine made this weird tapping noise for a while a week or so ago, its gone now. Maybe it was my paranoia that day or something, but now that I think about it, I did hose down my radiator that day..

Excessive speeding? It ain't excessive till I redline!

Have you been driving around for very long? Seems to stop just before you attemp to isolate, try a little longer, maybe? Is it such you are uneasy to run for very long? I have not had a similar experience, may hose engine tomorrow, well, clean it too! I have done this to 123's, no drama.

I don't think it's really a concern, infact, I doubt it really even being a relay, it's just VERY ANNOYING...although, I think it's gone now, I just finished a drive. a thought crossed my mind...it could be the speedometer cable...
