cracked head bolt OM603
heres a interesting find:
while cleaning parts yesterday I found one of the head bolts cracked! Photo attached. With my luck it would have sheared off during reassembly.

I thought it was common practice to replace the head bolts anyway.

Well you can, but you should messure them for stretch then replace accordingly.
Good catch! That would have sucked if it broke off!

i would replace them all.... its only 40 dollars... and it means that you wont waste 30 hours and hundreds of more dollars drilling and boring another one out.
