My windshield got cracked from a rock in a truck's tire a few weeks ago. Fortunately, my insurance paid for a new windshield, with no strike against my insurance record.
I used to drive around on a nice day with my sun visor down all the time. It was like the tinted windshield was not tinted low enough. Very annoying. When the guy came out to replace it, he said old windshield tinting fades after a while from the sun. So now I have a new one, and don't have to drive around with my visor down all the time.
