Euro bumpers for W123 coupe

I called a mercedes parts shop in the UK this morning (eurocarparts.co.uk) to get a price for a set of euro bumpers for my 1984 300CD. The euro bumpers for this car are in 3 parts 170 UK pounds for the middle sections and 90 UK pounds for the outer sections. Making a grand total of 700 UK pounds or around $1300 USD.

I also got a price for euro bumpers for a sedan model which come in 1 section the price being 60 UK pounds each or around $200USD for the pair.

I know the euro bumpers for the coupe look slightly different from the sedan, but is it possible to fit the sedan bumpers to the coupe? or is it a completely different mounting?

Thanks in advance for any advice

there is a set of euro bumper on a coupe in a local yard. Maybe i can retrieve those for ya.
We can probably arrange a price.

On the subject of the bumper i know the coupe, wagon and sedan have the same bumpers in the front. in tha back the wagon has different bumper but i am really not sure about the coupé.

I own a Euro coupe and I can say for sure the coupe's bumpers, front and rear are different from any of the other cars. The coupe's bumpers are in three sections, all chrome, including the side pieces that wrap around to the sides of the fenders. The sedan and wagon are similar to the US spec in appearance except the Euro versions do not extend out like the US version.
See attached photos of my coupe.

The pics expand to a slightly larger size but they're the only ones I could post with my laptop that I use most of the time. My larger ones are in my desktop computer.

coupe euro bumpers

i recently ran accorss an 81 euro coupe with perfect front and rear bumpers. the yard is in maryland and the asking price was $100 each with the mounting hardware. prior to spotting these, i bought another pair for a friend, at a pick and pull for $25 each, but the pick and pull bumpers were in poor condition chrome wise and the front bumper was twisted on both ends. if your interested, pm me and i'll get you the phone # for the yard. frank
