What's IT? 300SD Mystery Part
Just switched engines in a 1980 Mercedes 300SD and found a part I can't
identify. The engine was titled in Califorina so I think it has some smog control feature. It's a part attached to the block next to the injector pump. There are three wires coming out of it, brown, blue and green. Thanks for your help. |

I've seen that on junkyard cars. It's on the side of the injection pump thats right next to the engine. I've always wondered what it was.
