If it's in your 240D, there is nothing by the seatbelt light, only the glowplug light to the right.

the 116 dash should be same as the 123 dash...
perhaps somebody put a bulb where it is not supposed to go? John

Geez......... I'm not writing this as I'm driving my W116 and I haven't got it memorized.
Don't you have an owners manual for it, Lonesome? Go look at www.w116.org - there is one in the service manual. I don't think its the same as the W123.
