$185 Reasonable shop charge for serp belt and fuel screen????

I just had a local mechanic change my fuel tank screen (I supplied the part) and replace the serpentine belt in my 93 300D. He charged $125 for labor and a whopping $60 for the belt. Does this sound unreasonable?
I can order the same belt online for $20.

Also wondering if it's normal for the Mercedes Dealers to be charging well over list price for parts.

its like 2-3 times mark up at the dealership compared to what it is wholesale...

I dont know about your mechanic but my mercedes dealership is 85$ an hour to do any work not including parts...

also he probably did it by the book. If The Book says 3 hours to change a part.. then 3 hours charge. If the mechanic can do it in 2 he still gets paid 3.. if he does it in 4 he gets paid for 3 hours.. ya follow that one?
