Looks so much classier, congrats

That pricetag though, ouch. I'll put that money into parts to keep her running and just live with the bulbous ugly US spec lights

I installed PIAA Extreme Whites (really white, not fake HID-looking) in the headlight and PIAA Ion Crystal Yellows in the fogs. Really big improvement over sealed beams. Nice score. We're twins now..

Headlights unplugged to show just the fogs:

I didn't like the ion crystal fog bulbs, the yellow light separates at the cutoff on my Bosch euros, went back to white in the fogs.

Had them in my W8 and loved them. Really what a fog light is supposed to be. They make quite a difference in rain, snow & fog.

Switching out the Federal Perversions to what they were designed to be originally, is, IMHO, stock.

the pricetag was not bad at all. i payed $240 after shipping for my cheapo euro knockoff's. so $135 plus shipping was not bad at all, plus these are authentic Euro's with the vacuum adjustment.

Being from the UK I don't understand why the US had their own light design. I understand about the bumpers (silly as it seems), but why change the lights?

US used to have a law (defunct sinc 95) that ALL cars must have SEALED BEAMS in their headlights.......

Dummies anyhow............
