Isn't this a 'rod bender?' If so, it's a nice car, but a big risk when it comes to the motor.
(I have one myself - 1991 350SD)

The green interior is kind of a turn off... unless you are Kermit.

But this one is badged as a 3.0, and claimed to be a rebuilt one, with a rebuilt turbo. Maybe the original 3.5 grenaded and they put in a 3.0 and rebadged the car. "mint" indeed, Sixto is funny.

The green exterior is perfect, but the interior is a bit too "minty". Hey, isn't that one of the "My Little Ponies"?
I am sure that with the right size wheels and tires this car could look more aggresive than it's current form with the factory wheels and tires. IMHO the wheels and tires look too small for the huge body. The W140 had to be the biggest S class ever.

Man! This knowledge needs to be made universal. Too many broken record requests going on about lately. A W140 US spec turbo diesel ANYTHING has the 3.5 liter rod-bender engine in it. Mint, eh? Pssshhh...That color just does NOT look right on a W140.

I would love that color combo in a W115, W116, w123, and maybe even a W126. But just not a W140......

oppo-mint
Mine is the opposite color combo, darker green on top and lighter on the bottom. It looks a little better in my mind. I have a tan interior, so not as much green overload.

For some reason, the factory labeled the early W-140 diesels as "300SD". It's not rebadged and it does have the 3.5L engine.
