190 2.6 twin electric fans ???
While walking into the local CVS today, I noticed the hood up on a 190E 2.6 at a repair shop next to it and it had twin condenser fans. Anyone try to fit them to a 82-85 126?

They're the same fans as the 190D 2.5turbo has, and I believe the 300D 2.5turbo.

Yep, all 124's and I believe all the 201's have the the double fans. Mine does. By looking at them, I think they did it due to the lower profile grille. Not enough space between the bumper and the top of the radiator to fit a large 126 fan. To get the same airflow, they had to use two small ones.

The 300SE used twin fans up front, but you'll need to use the condenser from the 300SE as it has the mounting bracket for the fans.

The 201 with the 2.6 gas and with the 602 diesel used twins, the rest I believe with single fan. The 124 with the 603 engine used a single fan, with the 602 used twin fans, etc. I'm not sure why as the single fan is for the larger engine in the 124, and for the smaller engine in the 201.
