Do I need new springs in the rear? Is there a measurement I can take to make sure?

Doesn't look bad. What happens when you load down the rear?
If it drops too much, shocks might help, if not springs are what needs to be done. Worst case you have everything new back there

Check the center dif mount. It being bad can cause them to sag.
