motor mount help on a 83 300d

Hi
got the pass side off and on but the driver side mount is trashed even the heat shield is bent. I got the outside 6mm and also the center bolt out that was way off centerd now cant get any allen wrench or socket onto the inside one im thinking because of the mount failure. Any tricks other than trying to take the bracket of the motor?

Thanks

Thats a really though one to get to. I've used a couple methods. If you remove the driver's side shock mount and shock you can get to the allen bolt with a ball tipped allen wrench through the hole that the shock and shock mount go through, or I have also used a allen socket with a 6mm end wrench on the key part of the socket to rotate. Good luck.

Drivers side, inboard allen bolt ?

I had to struggle with mine from underneath (layed behind front wheel).
Used a standard allen wrench (the short end) , was really grateful when it finally broke loose.
