Does anyone know if there are any differences between the '95 and '96 E300D's? I know that the body styles changed, but I'm wondering if the engine and drivetrain stayed the same.

As far as I know, the drivetrains are the same.

I wonder if the major components stayed the same if some minor changes were made such as the fuel filter assy. The reason is that a few times people have made references to a valve on top of the fuel filter and mine does not have one. Is there one someplace else? Or, is it a new design?
