Should I buy a 76 300d ($1750)

I have a 82 300D Turbo. The 76 300d (a 115 chassis i believe) would be for my lady.
We test drove it for about 30 total miles, mostly highway. Oil pressure was great, drove strong, interior pretty good only one ripped seat. A/C was definately trying to work and blowing (barely) some cool air. A few oil leaks of course, NO RUST, not even in low places of the car. Very cute powder blue paint w/ navy interior. Valve cover gasket probably needs replaced at some point.
Mine is super dependable. Are these typically reliable as the ones from the early '80s? Also where is the best place for parts?
Thanks!

their are many places online to get parts..

the 617 N/A is a very robust engine

Adjust the valves, filters and fluids.. and she will be good to go..

also some pics would be nice as well

but they are a little faster than a 240D (ha)

That sounds like a pretty good deal, especially because it's very hard to find a W115 without big rust issues. Make sure to double check under the carpets and in the trunk area, as well. Also, I understand that getting at the blower motor is very difficult in these cars, so you may want to research that a bit before taking it on. Might be a good negotiating point with the seller.
