Anyone used an FS2500 oil filter

Read an interesting article in this month's issue of Diesel Power Magazine about these filters and they sound like they might help extend the life of a diesel.

Sent them an email asking if available for a Mercedes but they haven't answered yet.

Anyone here tried one of these or anything similar?

Several years ago, I read about one that used a metal or ceramic filter that could be cleaned but don't remember the name of it.

I see this post is

over a year old. Did they ever send a reply?
I'm looking into getting one also but have never heard from anyone who actually has one.

I have it in my 99 and the results are impressive. I use to scrub the veggie oil soot off the back of my car and now I do not. So it must be filtering the oil damn good.
