Don found an SDL he wants to buy
I have learned from here about the head issue and such. so just learning more so I can pick things out will be helpful
the car I found is for sale up in JAX and is going for 2k .. it has 278k on it (which worries me because of the head) but.. I asked the seller if it has records. If it has complete records I can go over it will help , right. If everything checks out I think my parents will help me buy it (instead of me getting a new laptop) and or I can get a loan ^_^ build that credit

Did you finish paying off your W123 already? I doubt any auto finance company would finance a 20+ year old car with over 250K on it.

I'd be more worried about the paint/body/interior quality than a simple cylinder head.

Nice! Glad to see you are making a good choice, moving up to not only a real car, but a better engine as well.
Now remember its an S class, try not to part it to close to the W123, you don't want any dirt from the poor family members getting on it...Zip, flame suit on.
