EBay Special - $1 to List a Car

Just got a message that on Saturday and Sunday (PDT) you can list a car on EBay for $1. Not sure if that is limited to just one car.

Maybe I need to list some of my $18,000 diesels!

:)

Thanks for this great tip. My gasser BMW is for sale, and I've been sitting on my hands about an eBay listing. I'll get it put up tomorrow!

Cheers, John

What I am thinking is you are nuts to sell that little car even if you found a nice 220D. And you certainly did, that gem from Redding is as nice an example of a 220D as you could have hoped to find. It looks like you really are a discerning buyer.

And BTW, I forgot, you asked how I could verify the blue plates on that car, the answer is I always lived in Calif. and always noticed the plates, you could usually discern the issuing DMV because of the license plate frames that the cars had. Your 220D appears to have been sold by Crown Motors
Mercedes, the dealer
in Redding, and those plates were issued out of that city's DMV.

As for your little 190 2.2 diesel, I must say, that
it's REALLY hard to find a car with that much verified history. Beaudry Motors was a long time Mercedes dealer on Speedway, which was auto row, in Tucson.

If I was in the market, that'd definately be on my list. Good luck selling it, I hope you get your price, I am sure it is more than worth it. I hope someone from Mercedesshop gets their hands on it.

thanks jim

i am kind of nuts to sell 'cup but i need the cash and two cars are more than enough right now.

i set an ebay-worthy reserve so if it sells, i will walk away a happy guy, and whoever buys it will get one heck of a lecture about the service history and their obligation to continue with it into the future.

thanks for the info about the plates.

cheers!
