Is the front drivers side fender the same on all w126 cars ? seL or sd?

minor difference

Not quite - The lower cladding on the 1981-1985 cars is ribbed.

The lower cladding on the 2nd generation cars (1986-1991) is smooth, but the fenders are all interchangeable other than that.
