I love buying these old Heins Werner and Blackhwak and other old American jacks from the '50's and rebuilding them.

I have three of them; 2 heinswerners and 1 Blackhawk.

I buy the seal kits and diassemble and refurbish them. In the end they are like brand new. Total cost of my three high quality industrial jacks? $300, icluding the rebuild parts. The labor charge was free--26 hours of free spiritual therapy!

If you are a pro or a shade-tree a hein werner will last a lifetime or two. One used hein werner will last longer than 15 $25 floor jacks. I have been saving up for a while and just bought a new 2-ton hein werner.
