Beautiful 240

I have nothing to do with this car./ Just found it on Craigslist and thought it looked nice.

The guy even has videos of the car!

Looks like a dash cap, repaint, needs head liner, carpet on drivers side worn through, hole in seat and back of drivers seat, if your going to say its that great at least clean the engine. It looks to me like another over sold car. I would offer 1500 tops.

The car is very nice, but I can't fight through all the obnoxious fluff in his ad, and all the times he says "incredible" in his videos. I had a fluff overdose fighting through that ad. Let the car speak for itself for the most part.....

I want folks to read the above, and consider the validity of that critique.
The repaint is clearly stated, and there is a place in this world for a repaint.
I wish my fleet only had the items listed above to attend to.
I'm as cheap as anybody on the forum, and even I recognize a value above that ridiculous lowball. We should all hope that our cars, in that shape or close, would have more value than $1500 bucks.
You could offer anything you want, but ownership would not be offered to you...

Your right, ownership would not be offered but when I see a car offered with that kind of fluff in the add I am inclined to stay clear of it because it makes me think the seller is trying to cover something. I guess I just get suspicious.

I'm slightly suspicious that it's had a POR-1 treatment.

Not POR-15 the rust preventative treatment, but POR-1. Where you just paint over the rust. There's one picture that seems to show a little bubbling in the door frame area.

You'd have to look the car over closely before buying since the repaint quality can't be determined in digital photographs.

Also, you can't CarFax the car to determine whether its been in Ohio for 15 winters.........

I agree 100% with that. Plus, it tends to just sicken and irritate me.....
