She's Alive!!

Last night, I brought back to life (the engine at least) the 1973 220d I just acquired.

The car had sat for 3 years. I replaced the battery, belts, fuel filters and blew out a bunch of pine needles. The tank was full and the diesel looked clean so I decided to not bother to drain it. She started right up with no drama.

Now I can move on to the other issues:

1. One of the calipers is frozen. Pedal is mushy too.
2. The brake light stays on even after I release it (pull the knob)
3. The go pedal does not seem to make the engine rev.

Any tips on these issues are very much welcome before I attempt to tackle them this weekend. Thanks!
