What is Delvac-1 Syntheitc Oil? Who makes it? Why is alot of diesel owners using it? Which grade is best? Where can it be purchased?

Its manufactured by Mobil. If you visit the Mobil website,

Supposed to be basically Mobil 1 with double the soot suspension capacity. Touted as being good to 60,000 miles when supported by oil filter changes and oil analysis (but I don't think I would try that). Currently sold only in 5w40. Retail cost just shy of $30 per gallon. I am hesitant to try it in my diesels, mainly for fear of leaks, but I just switched to it in my Toyota, which had been raised on Mobil 1.
