I think I found my A/C Blower problem on my 300D.
I think I found my problem. I opened up the kick panel to check the voltage, and although I'm kinda new to this whole benz thing I think there is supposed to be something plugging up that big hole.

The cable end is a PL-259, an RF connector. Things like that are used for two-way radios, scanners, cellular telephones, etc. Consider it a bonus left you by the PO.
As for the hole, although the photo is a little too close-in (I'm not sure what I'm looking at), that may be where the blower is supposed to go. Is there a cable with a two-pin plug flopping around under there somewhere?

You can see the plug for it in the first pic. Yep, hard to get any fan action when it isn't there!!

I second Jimmy's vote! There's no blower.

Yeah, so gotta find something to plug into that RF wire.
As long as we're playing what supposed to be here... What are these things supposed to connect to? They look important. ![]()

That's part of the AC system. I'm not sure where that wire should be plugged in to. I haven't gotten in to my own AC system, yet, but I'd say it's the pigtail for a pressure limiting switch.

Pressure switch
The wire is connected to a pressure switch, could have one or more applications depending on the specific year and model
-- turn off compressor clutch if pressure is too low => refrigerant level low (prevents burning up the compressor, since the refrigerant also contains the lubricant) -- turn on auxiliary fan if pressure is high (meaning refrigerant has absorbed a lot of heat and can't get rid of it -- especially important in stop-and-go traffic) -- turn off compressor clutch if pressure is way too high (prevents exciting things from happening) There's another switch, it looks like, on the other port of the a/c dryer. It probably does one of the functions listed above, while the disconnected wire does another function. The important question is, why did someone disconnect the wire? Question for you: does the a/c work? (does it get cold, I mean) The black connector in your circle is probably the power lead for the auxiliary water pump. It looks OK.

I cant test the AC because the above blower being missing. I looked around and couldn't find anything to plug those two wires into...whatever it was supposed to hook up to doesn't appear to be there anymore. The black rectangular thing looks like it plugs onto something, but again there is nothing I can find to plug it onto. I may have missed something though. Now that I have the control arms and the brakes in good shape, the AC is my current problem..This critter turned out to need a bit more work than I thought but I pretty hooked on it by now.
