How do you remove the rear bumper? '84 300SD
I just got a tow hitch put on and the guy tells me my rear bumper mount is broken. It's broken where the bumper shock attaches to the bumper.
Does anyone know how to remove the molding and the bumper? Is it held on by the 4 bolts on each bumper shock? Thanks Danny

DannyM The manual says to remove the inside covers in the corners of the trunk, you will see 2 bolts that attach the bumper, loosen these and it should come loose.
