AT valve bodies
Hi guys,
have a question. A friend put a 280 (m110) at trans behind a 617a engine. He says that fuel comsuption is higher than expected. I know gasser at's have diferent shiftpoints than diesels. Can just the valvebodies be exchanged to correct shift points or does it have to be the whole at. Thx and rgds Mike |

Other than shift points, maybe the speedo/odo drive gear is calibrated for a different final drive ratio. Could be getting the same mpg, but measuring distance incorrectly.
