Worth even saving these parts?

I have a drivers side rear travel arm, couple disc calipers and a shock absorber from W123s

They're junk to me at this point and am considering putting them in the scrap metal heap at the dump tomorrow. Should I be saving these? I'd give them away to anyone that could use them.

Just hate to throw out anything useful

The calipers and rear traveler (its actually called a trailing arm) arm are all valuable parts.....very very very expensive to buy those things new, especially the trailing arm. The shock probably isn't worth much, if its newer it might still be good, but if its old just toss it.

I'll take them if no one else wants them. I'm not in need of the shock, but I would put the others away for good use later.

yea.. about $2,000 for a new trailing arm... they are not "junk" unless it is rusted out

Well glad I posted the thread then

What exactly should I do with these to get rid of them?

Can't imagine the trailing arms to be worth that much as I see every W123 in the Pick n Pull yard with them still intact and rust free
I have one however that I definitely know what to do with....

yep.

toast. scrap metal.

But in thirty years you might wish you had saved them, as parts get harder and harder to find and folks are still running the old 123s....the best designed car ever.
