Lubro Moly ,whats it done for you?

Nailing no more? Quicker start ups? More power?
I was curious on the product so I did alittle research and found a base of roughly 60% diesel and the other is not defined but with a chemical recipe.I did find a descriptive of one of the chemicals to be a nitro type fuel.Thats the same as RC cars fuel if Im not mistaken.

In my E300, it cleared up some minor nailing after the delivery valve seals were repalced. Probably had some small amount of debris from the deterioated o-ring seals which was distrubed and that went to the injectors.

I ran two cans through twice. Not a cure all, but good PM and can help resolve minor nailing issues.

Lubro Moly makes a number of lubricants, additives and cleaners. It would appear that your question refers to "Diesel Purge."

I noticed a definite performance improvement the first time that I used Diesel Purge, at 135k miles. I used it again 6,000 miles later and observed little change. The first time, the returned DP was black by the time it was depleted. Second time, no significant change in color. Apparently there was not much to clean the second time around.
