Superb engineering

I normally don't post new threads and this might eat up uneeded forum space so I apologize in advance, but jeez...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-Benz-CLS-Class-AMG-Super-Rare-IWC-INGENIER-AMG-CLS-55-LO-MILES-55-MADE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ124125QQihZ010QQitemZ200127220460QQrdZ1

I love Swiss watches, such as IWC and Ulysse Nardin. I've occasionally read of the AMG Mercedes and the IWC Ingenieur watch tied to it but this is the only example I've seen.
I'm sure the avant garde MB hands know this model but to a newbie like me it's truly superb. The IWC titanium trimming makes it almost too much.
However, as a proud and humble '85 300D owner, I'm content to look on enviously at it's superior Deutsche technik...

For all you know it could be a YUGO..

Pictures tells the story of a sharp looking car. Wonder if one could fit a OM617 turbo under that low hood profile?..

Thats an amazing car, the CLS really is something else.

The interior is fine and the limited edition status is nice as well. The nice thing about a car like that is that chances of you seeing another one is very slim; IMHO thats worth the higher asking price.

I agree with tompaah7503----get rid of that computerized gas guzzling crap and drop in a nice oil-drip-free-for-now om617 turbo diesel!!! Now that would be a ride!!

I like the center console full length. the cup holders are wierd looking, but I like having the console all the way to the rear seats. I wonder if something like that would fit in a 126...

Well, whatever it looks like, I love it. To me it looks like a big cat, tensed up and ready to spring on some unsuspecting prey.

I'm sure it has impressive performance, but I could do without the "styling."

That would probably be an improvement.
