I need a spring compressor for my 300D. Anyone in Phoenix, AZ?
Whomever:
Working on my front end and, to finish it, I need to work on my springs. Anyone have a spring compressor I can borrow? I will gladly put down some collateral so that you can trust you will get it back. gabriel call me at 480.290.2926 if need be. thx. |

I feel your pain. I need to replace my mushy springs in the back of the Squash. The springs came in a box with the car, just waiting to stumble across a spring compressor myself.....

I didn't need a spring compressor for the rear
Unbolted the shock from behind the rear seat back. Jacked up the rear sufficiently high and unbolted the subframe and let it drop. Gave enough clearance for the spring just to drop out effortlessly Working a new spring back in is slightly more difficult but wasn't too bad. Just make sure everything is lined up and flush on the reinstall
