Part # / Source for "Push Lock" Zip ties for wiring harness?

I'm doing a complete wiring harness swap between 2 W201 benzes, and would like to be able to replace the factory zip ties that use the barbed "push lock" fasteners to attach the zip ties to the holes in the factory sheet metal.

I emailed Phil about this. He recommended going to the dealer and looking at the parts diagrams and ordering them. My closest dealership isn't very close, and I have a feeling that their parts dept. won't be too crazy about looking up part#'s for zip ties.

I'm hoping that someone here has a part# and /or a source for these specialized zip ties.

Do any of the ties in the attached picture look like the ones that you need?

I need these zip ties too - it's been a while since this listing but any part numbers or websites where I can get these would be greatly appreciated.

I ended up using some non-MB commercially available push-loc "buttons" which are slotted to accept zip ties. I can't remember the brand name right now, but I had to order them online, they were not available at any of the local electrical supply places. I think they were intended for more of an OEM-type application.

OE zip ties

You're aware that those zip ties are re-usable right?

The ones I had to replace weren't re-usable due to the fact that they were cracked and brittle.

There are many likely sources online for these. There probably is a minimum order of at least 100 for on-line orders.

Here is a company out of Erie, PA that has a pretty good selection that should work: http://www.allianceplastics.com/push-mount-ties

(a search for "cable ties, push mount, releasable" provided several sources. Double check any on-line sources through Thomasnet, etc..)

Resurrecting an old thread.

I am repairing and refinishing floor pans on 85 300D. The cables and vacuum tubes that traverse the floor pans are protected by inverted u-shaped black plastic covers. These covers are held down by cable ties (MB call them looms). The cable ties have an integral attachment pint that slides onto small chrome or S/S rivets or ?? that stick up through the floor pans.

My cable ties are mostly broken. I found a part number A0039975190. It may be possible to order these, but not sure that is what I want to do. Some of the "rivets" are loose so it might be better to pull them out and seal the holes.

Has anyone come up with a good alternative to these cable looms?

One thought is to tape them down with HD aluminum tape.
