ABS light on

Hi all,
I am trying to get the ABS light off on the dashboard of an 85 300 SD. I understand that sometimes the problem is metal filing buildup somewhere in the wheel end of the sensor. Can any one tell me exactly where I should be looking for this? Does anyone know of a good diagnostic for figuring out which sensor is failing?
