oooooooyaa

well i figured out exactly why my car was doing what it was doing, i had to rig up somthing to keep the broken piece of shaft in the upward position because when you runn the motor it pulls down thats y the spring is on the shaft, so twisted a piece of vac hose onto the shaft and put it on as tightly as i could and pulled up on the hose and riged somthing to hold the hose so it would keep the shaft in the up position and when i drove it; it def drove much better and way faster than before i even messed with it so i guess all this work was in the end kinda worth it, i barely have to push the gas pedal at all to get it moving, it prally a far fetch but it almost feels like you could peel out in reverse, i just hope my rig stays in place or ill have to figure somthing else out, but i kno what caused the problem, and im sure my rig will work for a while til i get my brain working again after this whole ordeal iv had alda on the brain.

This will be your last thread if you fail to continue your escapade on the original thread.

I fully agree with Brian.

Starting a new thread to add more info rather than posting in the existing thread makes it extremely difficult to follow continuity in searches.

How would you like to search for an answer to your problem, find half of it in one thread and not be able to find the thread with the answer?

Not to mention that run on sentences are extremely difficult to read!

Yeah, especially since there's currently a contentious, five-page thread fighting about the origins of the Diesel engine and global warming, which clearly belongs in open discussion.

I've been following the threads as well -- glad you figured it out.

Nah.......I'd never boot someone off the board.

I just got tired of combining threads.........each time he would return to the board with additional information on the problem.

It benefits everyone to start a problem and continue with all details on the same thread. Without that, the OP presumes that all readers will know his saga personally and can jump from thread to thread. Even if this is the situation, the eventual conclusion to the problem will be elusive to any new searches in the future by other members.

Yep, that happens.

Fight through it, and keep the whole story all in one place. We'll still look at your posts, even if they aren't always the first entry in a new thread.
After all, they don't sell books by the chapter.......

That certainly doesn't make them stupid. That is just a generational change. Now, the "WTF" and "OMG" doesn't make them stupid either. But it sure makes them irritating!! Boy I hate that.........
