Sunroof will not close after engine cleaning

I am a new 300 sd owner. 1983. My sunroof opened and closed slowly today when I bough it but now after I presure washed the engin it will not move or even make any noise. waht can i do to get it closed?

Use the manual crank bolt in thetrunk for now.

Manual crank? where is it.

I just bought this today. I do not know where to find the manual crank.

Open up the fuse panel and check the fuse. Those type of fuses can build up corrosion on the ends that connect them to the panel tabs. Take and twist them back and forth. Let us know what fixes it.

New fuses

That is what is interesting. i replace the fuses and after that it quit. i did find the crank in the trunk.

Well I cranked it shut and now it works fine. Not sure of the problem.

My 300SE sunroof wouldn't budge when it was cold out, when it was hot out it worked fine. Cleaned everything and greased up, works good as new in all temps. What I'm saying is perhaps you tested the sunroof when it was warm out, now it is cooler and doesn't seem to work. Give it a nudge and see what happens.
