thanks for the reference to the hi-mileage badge, I'm gonna go and get mine...
but...sniff... ...my 'TURBO' emblem has come off. Well, I have the chrome bit, but the foam-sticky-back is just rotted away. Would y'all be so kind as to offer suggestions? Do I just glue the thing back on? Do I order another emblem thingie? thanks tami see sig for model of car...

Ewww- you mean they glue on on a W124?
I think I used contact cement for a similar badge on my VW. It has held 10+ years. You probably don't want to use anything too permanent in case you want to paint it someday. Rick

If you have a nearby or within driving distance auto body supply shop, they can give you the correct emblem tape for it, basically just double sided tape, only a bit more durable for being out in the environment. You could probably find a body supply online with it as well.
