Drip test tube - anyone know where to buy one?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a place (online or in DC area) that sells the "drip test tube" for doing the timing on a 300sd?
Thanks!
Jim

Try the "Buy Parts" tab at the top of the page. They sponsor this group, their prices are good and shipping is fast.

Thanks for the tip, but no go. Any place else?

Thanks for the tip, but they don't seem to carry them. Haven't been able to find one with google either. Any other ideas?
Thanks
Jim

I made one years ago out of a discarded piece of injector line.
You can look on E-Bay, I see them there. usually around $15.00.

You don't need it. Just use the #1 injector line as the drip tube. If you let it drip just to the left of the injector, it's all uphill for the fuel and it will give a good indication of the timing.

Oh, I figured Phil had them, As mentioned above, use an old injector line, maybe make a trip to the nearest wrecking yard and carry a 17mm open end wrench. Or try "Performance Products"

Just get the right tool. It only costs $15 and it will pay for itself the first time you use it. It will ensure that it's been done correctly, something the injector tube, welling, and bubble methods cannot do.

I have found that a 17mm flair nut crows foot wrench with an extention,
works best for me to break the nuts loose on the injectors and IP.
I have the Hazet wrench, but it isn`t beefy enough if they are tight.
my 2 cents worth.

I haven't found any injector nut too tough for my plane old 17mm open end It does take a little maneuvering but after you've done it once or twice its easy.
