Whats purple Ice

Whould it be bad to put Purple ice in a greaseCar? We like it hot.

It's not needed. You have to use stuff like that to keep the engine cool, you have other problems that should be fixed instead.

Purple Ice is actually a good product; I use it in my four-wheeler because it overheats a lot (it's water-cooled). The "science" behind Purple Ice is that it kind of acts like soap by breaking down the elasticity of the water/coolant so it "hugs" the radiator better, thus giving more efficient cooling. True, however, that if you have an overheating problem, fixing it through the "normal means" makes much more sense.

An ATV I could understand. Mud, bugs, constant abuse, slow speed, etc. They need all the help they can get.

This is a similar product like Redline's Water Wetter, I have used that on my Accord and Mazda earlier, makes the green coolant turn a brownish color, had no other ill effects, never faced any overheating conditions but have raced the Accord in SCCA where I faced no heat related problems.
