Exclamation no acceleration

guys and gals,

a piece of the mechanical linkage that was mated with rubber to another piece has now broken completely off .....under the hood of my 1980 300sd

1. where do i find a picture of the linkage and assembly instructions...

i am not mechanical...but can learn

I've seen folks use a hose clamp to fasten the rubber to the metal plate in a pinch.

Sounds like your throttle bushing.

oh yea.. when that goes the acceleration suffers because the linkages doesn't get the necessary travel..

undo the linkages attached to it, unbolt.. install new one.. pop linkages back on(after putting a dab of grease)... and tell us how it is
