getting a new car
 

my 300d has too many problems to fix and in the market for a new diesel. i'm looking at a 1981 nice 240d with a manual everything and i have found a 1980 300d that is in not as nice but sound. can't decide which will get better utility. they both could use an italian tune-up.

before you buy one.. call your local Mercedes dealer and see if they will do a PPI on the car you like better. a PPI is worth it... seeing as your last one isnt what you expected or something like that eh

i purchased the last one for $400 and put over 60k in 2 years and have been driving w/out reverse for 6months. just want one w/ ac and a sunroof rather than putting all my cash into my 300d.

i will be selling as a parts car when i get a new one.
