A Quick Update
I saw my friend with the dead engine in his '07 CDI, compliments of the Lovecrap conversion.... He is not very mechanical.... but what he told me was the VO had caused the injectors to malfunction, possibly over injecting (??) and then flooding into the engine oil. He confirmed that the engine oil was many quarts overfilled with VO.
The most interesting thing he said was that Lovecrap was going to pay the entire cost of fixing the vehicle. His take was that the woman who has taken over since Brian left, is trying to do the right thing.....

no sarcasm here: the right thing to do would be to admit that the design is fatally flawed and shut down the operation.

I'm not anti veg at all, but one-tanking a new Cdi? thats a terrible idea and they should know better!
