Are my timing marks Off
 

What can you guys tell me by looking at this pictures.
Note:

• The chain tensioner is not installed
• The cam mark is aligned and the #1 intake is around 11 o'clock
• The crankshaft/balancer mark is between the 15-20 marks
• The chain is new and has not been permanently secure

You need to install the tensioner and run the engine before you can get an accurate reading.

install the tensioner but DO NOT attempt to start that engine until you have turned it thru at least 2 complete revolutions to be sure no pistons are hitting valves.Use a socket on the crank bolt to turn the engine and if it feels like something is hitting STOP and find out whats going on.
