help with a few problems, i can see a bit of diesel gas

My car struggles uphill, does not slip into previous gear just feels like it woes back and forth from wanting to go, to not wanting to go.
Seems like one thing after the next, after the next, but I guess this is just my semi annual tune up that was much needed. I fixed a couple of stale cracking vaccuum connecters which I thought fixed the problem, I was climbing a hill like a champ at 65 mph. Then later that night, 50 mph seemed to difficult. I found a bit of diesel near the smaller fuel filter, here is a picture, and might this be related? could fuel be leaking because it is plugged? I made sure that white plastic screw was on tight! it seemed to leak from the top it looked like.

I also fixed a cracked hose on what I think was connected to the turbo, can anyone verify the purpose of this, it was basically off. here is a zoomed out picture of the loaction. , the hose might be a little below that, this is just the general area, here is a zoom of actual hose i am refering to.

Anyway, time to replce the primer pump with the new style...

That hose is the waste gate hose.

you guys are funny, soon it will be oil that smells like fried food when I drive by, rather then diesel . thanks a ton. I replaced that waste gate hose with a hose I cut from that I got to fit perfect without it creasing or bending a lot ,should I still get one from dealership? Is the pump hard to replace? would I leak a lot of GAS, kidding, or is their a certain method? Also would dealership have this pump or would I have to find it elsewhere. thanks guys,
ps where do i find this whunter guy?

I say replace the hose with the correct one.

By the looks of it your engine isnt a cali engine so you would need this hose for the wastegate.

The updated primer pump is this one.

Id also recommend replacing the old fuel lines that could also leak due to age.
