Pitiful low compression was remedied slowly with the help of Marvel mystery oil and boosted with rislone compression repair .Thats 2 cars now that were written off and I was able to actually get a running motor to happen.My 77 300cd is now starting and will get tags next week.The 85 is going to need some work so its a running parker for now .This poor motor had carbon chunks spilling out when I changed the oil ,really bad maintinence from what it looked like.Smoked black smoke on start up and pulled it out of the garage to run for 10 minutes ,The smoke cleared up after a minute or so ,and throttle response was really good.It isnt starting on the first key turn ,so its not a success til then .Ill keep plugging away to make it a reliable ride someday ,its one car that kind of adopted me and I took pitty.No real expensive paid on it except the oil and filter .I like cheap fixers ,hopefully this one falls in that catagory..
