I know to check it at that temp too. However, how do you know when it is at that temp is another question. AFAIK, the only way is if you have SDS.

mulears,

I have the exact same car as yours and I do experience the same symptoms.

I have done all preventive engine maintenance possible to do (filters, o-rings, return hoses) and I really believe it is tranny related.

I will get back to you on this post once I get the transmission fluid changed.

Bye,

Thanks Ben, I look forward to your reply. Are you doing a complete fluid change? I only did about 4qts.

Aklim, they used a IR thermometer to check temp. I may take it to the stealership to have them check it though.

You could check to see if the turbo has an issue. take the hose going to it out and see if the impeller blades are bad. Also check shaft play. It should have hardly any movement sideways and able to spin freely.

Thats an excellent idea, Aklim. You have given me several great suggestions. Unfortunatly, I am taking the car on a 1000mi. trip starting early tomorrow morning. It will have to wait until after that.

Did post #8 yield any results? Transducer swap?
