123 wagon engine into a 123sedan

Will it work? Can you block off the sls system? Just wondering as i have one in my sights. and I am ponderingmy options. It is a turbo model TD rolled over. some oil pan damage but it looks clean. i will have to check that.

Yes it will work. you can block off the SLS.

of course that head is worth some good money. May be worth swapping heads while the motor is out.

ForcedInduction did it. Somewhere on the forum is a picture of how he blocked off the pump hole.

It's easy to do. Aluminum plate, 4 holes, new metric bolts and some silicone.

Why not keep the SLS pump. I have seen SLS systems as options in euro-spec sedans.

Maybe you can transplant the SLS equipment to your sedan? Cool idea.

All the mounting spots are there to do it. You would just have to swap everything over.
